The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the results for the 2025 board exams on May 13, 2025. As per tradition, CBSE releases results in May every year after completing the evaluation process. In 2024, the results for both Class 10 and Class 12 were also declared on May 13, covering around 39 lakh students — with 22,38,827 students in Class 10 and 16,30,730 in Class 12. Historically, girls have continued to outperform boys in terms of overall pass percentage.

For 2025, CBSE conducted the Class 10 and 12 board exams starting February 15. The Class 10 exams concluded on March 18, while the Class 12 exams wrapped up on April 4, 2025. The detailed CBSE Date Sheet 2025 was released on November 20, 2024, giving students ample time to prepare. Additionally, practical exams for both classes were held from January 1, 2025.
